So today’s Bloganuary prompt is definitely a good one.

What is a song or poem that speaks to you and why?

Light Me Up by Ingrid Michaelson is one of my favorite songs in the world. I’m a total cynic but this song just says “romantic” to me. It makes me think of deep, strong connections. And it’s just plain beautiful.

It’s Monday again. I loathe Monday. What’s so good about Monday? Can’t we put forth a motion to strike it off forever? Then I suppose, my hatred would shift to poor Tuesday. It’ll be a never-ending cycle.
