Hey, guys, how’s it going? I’m determined to keep blogging so I’m trying a new approach. I’m going to numerate my posts to see how many I get done in a month. So post 2 of May today, peeps!
I’ve been binge-watching one of my favorite TV shows, Baby Daddy, because it’s absolutely hilarious and I needed a laugh throughout last week which was a horrible week. Anyway, I’d forgotten how lovely this song is. The melody is simply beautiful. 😉
I’m kinda addicted to this song these days. I can’t figure out what about it I really love but it’s stuck in a loop in my head lol. I don’t like the official video of this song so I went with this simple vid.
This has got to be one of my absolute favorite songs in the world! I can’t remember the gazillion number of times I’ve listened to it. Twelve years later and I still adore it. I never grow tired of listening to it.
Hola! I’m back to posting. Hopefully after all the starts and stuck-in-the-ruts it will stick this time. *fingers crossed*
Do you like movie scores? I love them, especially Journey 2 – The Mysterious Island’s score by Andrew Lockington which is awesome! I’ve had Who’s Up For An Adventure stuck in my head on a loop for days now.
Fear. How do you surmount it and not let it cripple you? I just heard a second new strain of COVID-19 has surfaced in Ontario. I have to go to work tomorrow and I’m scared as shit to take a step out the door. I have this belief that life is like swimming in an ocean full of lurking sharks. You can take every precaution, try every safe route, and when you thought you had found your way out, a Megalodon would appear and before you knew it, you were hash meat.
You can do all the right things and still, life finds a way to screw you over.
So, how do you get past your fears and worries? Alas, I don’t know. The world is a scary place. Books and music help for a short time. But sometimes the demons just win. Still, a song can be a form of salvation – the best kind and anyone who loves music, in any form, can find some solace in it.
