F Is For Friday – 25 Feb 2022

Hola, Book Dragons, it’s been a real downer of a day today but I’m just glad it’s over. I think I’ve said this before but I just love Friday nights. There’s just something magical about Friday nights – the possibility of all that potential of a weekend. Friday nights are best because you can feel all that energy in you for the weekend ahead.

F – Feature your latest book obsession (it doesn’t have to be your current read)

This has become one of my favorite YA contemporaries. I loved it.

I – Indicate which book/s you are looking forward to reading this weekend.

Another YA contemporary that I’m finally getting to and so far I like it.

F – Favorite quote of the week/day

“Are you there, Loneliness? It’s me, Kai.”

One simple sentence and it has so much depth.

F – Five things you’re happy or grateful for this week.
1. BOOKS!!!!
2. Peace of mind.
3. Whoever’s watching my ass up there, a big thanks for helping me out of the jams I get myself into and for giving me the strength to cope with my life. It bears repeating.
4. Friday nights, thank you very much.
5. A safe place to stay, a roof over my head, food to eat, warm clothes. Much gratitude for this. Every night I think about this and I am grateful.

Stay tuned.

I'm a die-hard Book Dragon and also an advanced introvert. My blog's about books, books and more books. (yep, that was easy) I might, from time to time, write about life and its vagaries. I like taking pictures of books and doing origami and cross-stitch.
