F Is For Friday – 14 May 2021

Hey, peeps, can’t believe it’s already Friday and the week’s over. I got vaccinated on Tuesday – Pfizer, first dose. What about you guys? Are you taking the vaccine?

So post #8 of May. Was too bushed this week with stressing over the vaccine and then going through the side-effects so I couldn’t post at all.

F – Feature your latest book obsession (it doesn’t have to be your current read)

I just came across this book, has anyone read it yet?

I – Indicate which book/s you are looking forward to reading this weekend.

I finally finished book 1 (Shadow & Bone). It feels good to actually finish a book again and I started on Siege & Storm. I can’t wait to meet Nikolai. I think Siege & Storm is my favorite in this trilogy.

F – Favorite quote of the week/day

Yep. Me, every year until I finally die, I suppose.

F – Five things you’re happy or grateful for this week.
1. Books. THANK GOD FOR BOOKS. *on my knees, hands together in prayer, to the full moon* 😉
2. Good health, please.
3. Whoever’s watching my ass up there, a big thanks for helping me out of the jams I get myself into and for giving me the strength to cope with my life. It bears repeating.
4. For clarity of mind, for those times when my thoughts make sense.
5. A safe place to stay, a roof over my head, food to eat, warm clothes. Much gratitude for this. Every night I think about this and I am grateful.

Wish you all a good weekend. Stay safe and of course, keep reading!

Author:

I'm a die-hard bibliophile and I'm also an introvert. My blog's about books, books and more books. (yep, that was easy) I might, from time to time, write about life and its vagaries. I like taking pictures of books and doing origami.
