Hey, you guys, so I had this idea for a new blog meme but this one won’t be for a specific day. It’s more like an opportune blog meme. You can use it for any time you run into blogger’s block lol or you just want to talk about your current read.
Here we go with the rules for the meme: 1 – Title should be as such: “TYCR – Date – Book Title” (see above) 2 – Credit the creator of this blog meme (Me! 😉 ) and link back. 3 – Book cover and synopsis 4 – Talk about how the current book you’re reading or listening to is making you feel – share your thoughts but no spoilers, please.
Just have fun with the blog meme and use it whenever you want. You’re welcome to use the banner as well if you like.
Here I go. My current read:
Synopsis: Can a love triangle have only two people in it? Online, it can… but in the real world, it’s more complicated. In this debut novel Marisa Kanter explores what happens when internet friends turn into IRL crushes. There are a million things that Halle Levitt likes about her online best friend, Nash. He’s an incredibly talented graphic novelist. He loves books almost as much as she does. And she never has to deal with the awkwardness of seeing him in real life. They can talk about anything… Except who she really is. Because online, Halle isn’t Halle—she’s Kels, the enigmatically cool creator of One True Pastry, a YA book blog that pairs epic custom cupcakes with covers and reviews. Kels has everything Halle doesn’t: friends, a growing platform, tons of confidence, and Nash. That is, until Halle arrives to spend senior year in Gramps’s small town and finds herself face-to-face with real, human, not-behind-a-screen Nash. Nash, who is somehow everywhere she goes—in her classes, at the bakery, even at synagogue. Nash who has no idea she’s actually Kels. If Halle tells him who she is, it will ruin the non-awkward magic of their digital friendship. Not telling him though, means it can never be anything more. Because while she starts to fall for Nash as Halle…he’s in love with Kels.
I had a hard time getting into the first few pages but after I got past them I really started enjoying this story. All the bookish terms made me smile because come on, it’s like reading about my own bookish quirks, lol.
I’m only a few chapters in but I’m beginning to like the book even more as I go.
What about you guys, have you read this book? What are you currently reading?

I'm a die-hard Book Dragon and also an advanced introvert. My blog's about books, books and more books. (yep, that was easy)
I might, from time to time, write about life and its vagaries. I like taking pictures of books and doing origami and cross-stitch.
