Goodbye, October! Only two months left to this year. Reading-wise, October was pretty good for me. I read 33 books in all! IKR! It’s the first time ever I’ve read that many books in one month. It’s pretty amazing and all thanks to my bookish journal which I started back in July. 🙂
I still have a long way to go till Dec as you can see by my GR challenge stats:
I figure I’ve made a pretty good dent. If I read 30 books in both Nov and Dec, I might just make it to 200 books. Yay! But next year, I plan to do a better job of reading more books in the first half of the year instead of waiting till Nov and Dec. I mean, guys, so many books, so little time. So I have to make the time to get to all the 2,506 books on my TBR. 😉
However, out of those 33, only 8 were my favorites and worth mentioning:
– Serpent & Dove – Shelby Mahurin
– Coraline – Neil Gaiman
– Slay All Day – Cynthia Eden
– Odd and the Frost Giants – Neil Gaiman
– The Bone Houses – Emily Lloyd-Jones
– Book Love – Debbie Tung
– Opal (The Raven Cycle #4.5) – Maggie Stiefvater
– The Graveyard Book – Neil Gaiman
I think it’s better if you read less books but you loved every one of them, rather than read tons but only like a few. Still, those 33 books were on my TBR and I’m glad I got to them this month.
Overall, on my blog I did 22 posts. I think with better planning, maybe I can do more. I’m a bit behind on my reviews, but I’m hoping to get to them in November.
What about you? How was your month? What are your plans for November?
