Saturday Stars – 14 July 2018 – Roarke (In Death series – J.D. Robb)

Wah, super tiring day! From glass-bottom boat rides to relaxation massages, to runs on the beach. Pretty good if you can get it. πŸ˜‰ Too bad my hotel stay’s at an end. I go back home and to reality tomorrow. 😭

On that note, who knows more about relaxation get-aways than Roarke?

Saturday Star: Roarke
Book/Series: In Death series – J.D. Robb

It’s the year 2058 and the world is one of fast-changing technology. But humans remain at the core, the same.

What to say about Roarke? In this futuristic world, he’s the richest man on/off-planet. Gorgeous with the face of an angel, sexy, dangerous, sarcastic. A tech whiz. Every woman’s dream. And a criminal to boot, though the law has nothing on him. He’s absolutely fascinating.

He had a horrible childhood and he dragged himself out of that hellhole by hook or crook. He remade himself into the magnate he is today, where he lacked for nothing. And he had the misfortune to fall for a cop.

The Criminal and The Cop. Ah, Eve Dallas was the woman. The only. His love for her saved him, saved the both of them. Oh, man, the intensity of his love for her tugs at the heartstrings. There isn’t a lot he wouldn’t do for her. They fit each other, two lost souls who found a home with each other. Love, Family.

In Reunion In Death, he told her, “I know one thing utterly. I’ll love you till I die.” It was the way he said it to her, quiet, staring straight into her eyes, conviction in his. That was, like a straight hit to my heart. 😍😍😍 He and Eve are my absolute favorite couples.

I'm a die-hard bibliophile and I'm also an introvert. My blog's about books, books and more books. (yep, that was easy) I might, from time to time, write about life and its vagaries. I like taking pictures of books and doing origami.
